Infatuated with beads

A publication with almost 300 colour photographs that offers a fascinating insight into utility objects and curiosities made of tiny glass beads between the 18th and 20th centuries.

It also describes the different types of technology used in making glass seed beads and the techniques of working with them. Most of the objects come from the private collection of Bertrand Fried, joint owner of “Fried Frerès”, a French fashion jewellery company with Czech roots. The book was published in cooperation with PRECIOSA ORNELA.
