Event in exibition - Lukáš Jabůrek & 30 years of Ajeto

Glass designer Lukáš Jabůrek (*1983), who made a name for himself in the world as the artistic director of the Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary, today runs his own glass studio. He creates excellent hand-cut unique items and collections, designs for Czech glassworks and other clients. His work is combined with an emphasis on craftsmanship and a distinctive aesthetic, from which it is evident at first glance how difficult it must have been to produce the object.

This year, he designed collection of richly decorated hot-glass vases, OPULENT, for the Ajeto Glassworks in Lindava, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Ajeto Glassworks, founded jointly by glassmaker Petr Novotný, technologist Libor Fafala and designer Bořek Šípek, today belongs to LASVIT company. However, it maintains its recognizable face, which is evidenced by the author's collections with which it has entered the market in recent years. The connection with Lukáš Jabůrek is a logical continuation of the path to promoting one's own brand based on perfect craftsmanship and knowledge of current trends.
