Awards of the International Triennial Glass and Jewellery JABLONEC 2026

The International Triennial of Glass and Jewellery JABLONEC 2026 honoured the best collections presented within the TRENDY.DESIGN.PRODUCTION exhibition. At the opening ceremony on May 14, 2026, representatives of selected brands, studios, and manufacturers received medals and awards for their work, which stood out for its originality, craftsmanship, and contemporary approach to glass and jewellery design.

The winners of the main awards were selected by a five-member international jury composed of experts from the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, and Spain. The jury members were:

• Naďa Kančevová – chairwoman of the jury, design curator, theorist, and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava

• Paloma Pastor Rey de Viñas – director of Centro Nacional del Vidrio, Real Fábrica de Cristales de La Granja

• Kazimierz Pawlak – glass artist and vice-rector of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław

• Thomas Kastl – director of Ambiente Dining, Messe Frankfurt

• Martin Hlubuček – glass artist and educator

The medals were produced according to a design by David Matura, author of the Triennial’s visual identity, and manufactured by the Secondary School of Applied Arts and Higher Vocational School in Jablonec nad Nisou.

The following companies, studios, and brands received awards from the international jury:

• MOSER, Karlovy Vary

• QUBUS DESIGN STUDIO, Praha

• RÜCKL, Nižbor

• Hana Šebková, Špindlerův Mlýn

Additional awards were presented by representatives of institutions that granted patronage to the project:

• Messe Frankfurt a. M. Award:

  Lukáš Jabůrek studio, Jirkov

• Award of the Director of the State Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou:

  KULTIVAR, Liberec

Visitors may also vote for their favourites throughout the duration of the exhibition and decide the recipient of the Public Award.
